The rating is opened by an inexpensive compact universal sewing machine for mending or sewing clothes with two switchable speed modes, a straight stitch in two threads. Simple, intuitive threading system.
Pros:

Brother CX5 is suitable for garment sewing, darning, hemming. Performs a zigzag stitch, sews elastic with elastic stitch. The Jaguar A-317 is ideal for sewing and darning small items from light to medium fabrics. It is inconvenient to sew bulky things because of the small working area. We'll have to adapt to the unusually off-center needle, as opposed to the central position of Janome 2015 or Comfort 2.
Aurora STYLE 3

- does not take jeans, tears the thread and hums.
A great model for beginners. 6600 for a typewriter is inexpensive, especially for a quality one. Here, a simple and easy change of feet, a convenient choice of stitches, you do not need to constantly check the panel by number. The thread tension can be not adjusted, it is automatically tightened according to the selected sewing type. Well-lit work area. It sews well light and medium fabrics, but for denser ones, a more powerful model is needed, for example, Janome Juno 513.
Singer Fashion Mate 2290
The brand, whose name has been known since the 19th century, specializes in the production of sewing equipment. Simple budget model for 6800 rubles. A device for learners of sewing techniques. Vertical metal hook, smooth thread feeding, all basic stitching and adjustment of the pressure of the foot on the fabric.
Pros:
- high build quality and efficiency of sewing any type of fabric;

Excellent model, from 52 reviews on Yandex. Market and 85 on E. Catalog, among the minuses, users indicate only insignificant ones, as for me. In general, there is a unanimous opinion that the technique is cheap for a famous brand. Easy to learn for beginners, good functionality for masters. Quiet in work, you can safely sew at night or when the child sleeps during the day. Of course, the quietest in this regard - with a rotary-horizontal shuttle, like the Brother M-14 or Jaguar Voyage.
Janome Juno 513
The second model of the brand in my rating differs from Janome 2015 not only in the cost of 7800 rubles (against 6600). More powerful 85 W motor, presser foot lift up to 12 mm. Same functionality for 15 sewing lines, but no button sewing foot, just for zipper sewing.
Pros:
- powerful, with a high rise of the foot, takes dense fabrics and jeans;
- any thread number allowed;
- the rail of the lower conveyor is reinforced, it feeds material of any texture and density well;
- 3 types of operations for elastic fabrics, including imitation with overlock;
- there is a built-in system for adjusting the balance and thread tension;
- built-in needle threader, side-mounted thread cutter unlike Janome 2015.
Minuses:
- there is no button foot, but I would like one included;
- not enough sewing operations for such an "advanced" and not entirely cheap model (from reviews). There are 17 of them in Jaguar Voyage.
Multifunctional sewing machine for those who can sew. Performs 15 required operations. It takes dense fabrics well, for example, drape. True, with the denim texture, difficulties arise when hemming and stitching - experience is needed.
At first, beginners will find it unusual to sew because of the speed of material feeding and other "bells and whistles", they should look for something simple, like Comfort 2 or Singer Fashion Mate 2290.

Some are unhappy with the price (9,100 rubles), they believe that the Singer Fashion Mate 2290 is cheaper, but better in terms of mastering and sewing.
Jaguar voyage
At the bottom of my rating is a model remarkable in all respects for 9,900 rubles. The modern type of shuttle is rotary-horizontal, as in the Brother M-14. Performs 23 operations - this is more than all TOP models, at a speed of 400 stitches per minute.
Pros:
- compact, lightweight model with a stable design. Does not jump, does not shift at speed;
- in the list - 23 types of zigzag stitches, blind, overcast, elastic and with a double needle, automatic welt buttonhole;
- there is a needle threader as in Janome Juno 513;
- an add-on desktop as in the Brother M-14;

Minuses:

- there is no ruler on the body, as in Comfort 2;

Easy to use, even the first sewing user will understand. Performs all operations necessary for home sewing. Convenient side desk. Takes all types of fabrics without problems. Only a high price can stop buying. But if you want high-quality equipment, then I advise you to buy either Singer Fashion Mate 2290, or Aurora STYLE 3.
