On the front of the container there is a scale with volume filling marks. Below is a filter that prevents limescale and other impurities from entering the inside of the irrigator. There is an outlet valve behind the filter, due to which the liquid does not pour out.

On the handle there is a two-position switch that starts the irrigator and regulates the fluid pressure. The switch has a recess making it very easy to operate.

Functional

Oral-B Professional Care OxyJet MD20

It is supplied with 4 attachments for standard cleaning of teeth from plaque, they are no different to give each attachment a personal touch, they are completed with colored plastic rings. They function in two modes of operation:

  1. Mono flow feed - cleans out food debris and plaque between teeth.
  2. Turbo flow with micro bubbles - a light massage of soft tissues, the liquid passes under the gum edge and non-removable structures on the teeth.

To change the mode, move the flag on the nozzle to one of the positions. On the front side of the nozzle, the impeller is small, it is it that adds air bubbles to the supplied stream.

Before the first use, water is collected in the reservoir and its entire volume is passed through the irrigator. Preparation for launch consists of the following algorithm of actions:

  • One of the attachments is attached to the handle.
  • Warm water is collected in the container with or without the addition of a special solution.
  • Start up with the power button.
  • The required pressure for the water supply is selected by the regulator.
  • It is started up by moving the switch on the handle up, it opens the fluid supply.

After pressing the power button, water is pumped from the container into the handle, the process is accompanied by a characteristic loud sound. It will be difficult to carry out the procedures early in the morning and not wake everyone at home.

The head is infinitely adjustable in the range from 1 to 5 units, it is infinitely and finely adjusted. Power levels 1 and 2 are suitable for children and adults who are prone to gum bleeding. 3 to 5 units are suitable for adults without gum disease. The most suitable indicator is 4, the power at this level washes out food particles between the teeth well, the capacity is consumed in about 90 seconds.

Considering that for a complete and thorough cleaning of the oral cavity in the mode of supplying water to 4, an adult needs about 8 minutes, and continuous use of the irrigator is allowed for 15 minutes, then a break of 2 hours is needed, it is optimal for a family of 2 people to use it.

After use, the remaining water is poured out of the container - do not turn off the irrigator until the liquid stops flowing out. This measure protects against the growth of pathogenic bacteria inside. It is recommended to change attachments every 3 months.
