SkyLine 22LT5900 TV review

Today I want to review an inexpensive novelty from a Belarusian manufacturer. Price - 6400 rubles. This is one of the most budget TVs on the market. I decided to find out if it is possible to buy a really worthwhile product for that kind of money, will it please the user with the quality of the image and sound? Having superficially skimmed over the characteristics, there is no doubt about this, but what really is?

This model participates in ranking of the best TVs for the kitchen.

Screen

SkyLine 22LT5900 is equipped with a 22 "TFT VA matrix with Direct LED backlighting. Resolution - Full HD. The aspect ratio is 16: 9. Viewing angles - 178 °. The image is worthy for a budget TV, but it won't compete with brand models. Even at Hyundai H-LED22ET2001, which is more expensive than only 800 rubles, the picture is nicer. Domestic Polarline 22PL12TC cheaper by 400 rubles, the image quality is also not particularly inferior.

Appearance

From a design standpoint, this TV is unremarkable. Thick frames, glossy black massive stand. The name of the manufacturer is printed on the lower frame in silvery letters. Its dimensions are 510 × 307 × 78 mm. There is a possibility of mounting on the wall - VESA bracket 100 × 100. I won't find fault with the design, in the budget segment all TVs are practically twins.

Connectors

Equipped with the following connectors: antenna input, AV, VGA, HDMI, USB, coaxial output and CI slot. A decent set for a budget 22 "TV. Although I would add one more HDMI and USB input. But this is already nitpicking, since no budget TV with such a diagonal has 2 HDMI and USB connectors, and the user often does not need them: such TVs are mainly installed in the kitchen or in hotel rooms.

Sound

This is the weak side of all state employees and SkyLine 22LT5900 as well. 2 built-in 3W speakers are responsible for it. The volume will be sufficient for an average room, but there is no surround sound. For good sound you will have to pay almost twice as much by buying, for example, LG 22MT58VF-PZ or by connecting external acoustics. But is sound really important for a 22-inch model to be used in the kitchen? I do not think.

Functions

Built-in sensitive tuners are responsible for reliable reception of digital and cable television signals - the TV has no problems with this. Multimedia functions are limited by the capabilities of the built-in player. It supports all modern formats, there will be no problems with viewing personal photo archives and favorite films. Standard options are child lock, sleep timer and TimeShift. The latter allows you to record movies, TV shows and TV shows on a USB flash drive.

Advantages and disadvantages

Benefits:

• Full HD resolution;
• good image;
• sensitive digital TV tuner;
• convenient remote control.

Disadvantages:

• poor quality sound;
• no anti-reflective coating of the matrix;
• 1 x HDMI;
• 1 USB port.

Verdict

We are talking about a TV set for the kitchen, and therefore I see no point in paying 400 rubles more in this case. There is nothing fundamentally new in the display of the picture or the sound of this TV compared to Polarline 22PL12TC does not offer.
