After analyzing the current Smart TV market in the budget price segment, I compared the proposed models and I want to present you an overview of the TV of the famous Chinese brand Xiaomi - MI TV 4S 50. Based on the results of the review, you can understand whether this model is right for you or if you look better at others.

Screen
LG's TFT IPS matrix, as in all other Xiaomi TVs, has a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K), and the standard aspect ratio is 16: 9. Viewing angles - 178 °. Diagonal - 49.5 ”(126 cm). Refresh rate - 50 Hz, PAL (European) region standard. Pixel response time - 8 ms. A wide dynamic range of colors is declared - HDR10, but only on paper: in reality it is a pseudo-HDR, it cannot work correctly with a matrix with low brightness. Backlight type Direct LED, white light LEDs are located behind the matrix, so slight flare on black colors is possible. The matrix itself has a low brightness, which will negatively affect the picture quality in daylight. It will be comfortable to watch in the evening or during the day with curtained windows, but you should not expect more from a state employee. The models are cheaper (the same HARPER 49U750TS) - the same problems with brightness.
Appearance
The frames are metal, they are small at the top and sides, and a little larger at the bottom. The MI lettering flaunts on the bottom frame. Stand - two metal legs. The back of the case is plastic with image / sound input / output connectors. There is a possibility of mounting on the wall, but the kit does not include the necessary device - it is purchased separately, as an accessory, standard - VESA 300 × 200 mm. The remote control is minimalistic, has not so many buttons, but it copes with its task. Works via bluetooth.
Connectors
In terms of connectors, everything is classic, on board - AV, component (tulips), x3 HDMI 2.0, x2 USB, Ethernet input, Wi-Fi 802.11ac is supported, Bluetooth. The output is only coaxial.
Sound
The speaker system is in the form of two speakers located below, with a power of 8 W each (in total - 16 W). Surround sound on two speakers thanks to special audio processing. Audio decoders - Dolby Digital and DTS. There are no questions about the sound: it is ordinary, moderately loud, but if high sound quality is a priority, then it is better to connect a separate audio system or choose another TV, for example, LG 49SK8000... Paying about 5 thousand rubles, you will get much better sound due to more powerful speakers.
Functions
Smart TV is implemented through the built-in Android 6.0 operating system. Above Android is installed a minimalistic shell from Xiaomi - PatchWall. Internet access, downloads of applications, programs are provided. The internal memory is only 8 GB: not that much, but you can live without an external drive. But to download a full movie in 4K resolution, you cannot do without an external storage device. With a special button on the remote control, you can give voice commands to the TV, for example, assign an auto-off timer. The TV is included in the Xiaomi Smart Home ecosystem, using the remote control, you can give commands to other devices that are part of the ecosystem. Disadvantages - there is no support for DVB-T2 and DVB-S2, there is an antenna input, but the signal is rather weak. You can watch the usual TV channels either with the help of set-top boxes or via IPTV. In the latter case, slowdowns are possible if the owner's Internet is not fast enough.
Advantages and disadvantages
Benefits:

Disadvantages:
- lack of DVB-T2 and DVB-S2;
- incomplete Russification;
- problems with the analog signal.
Verdict
The TV has a good matrix, normal sound - in general, the TV is average in the budget segment. Price - 30,000 rubles. But why pay more if, for example, it costs 8500 thousand cheaper HARPER 49U750TS - you can get the same thing, but save yourself the trouble with IPTV. It has DVB-S / T2 support with the same matrix and similar sound. If finances allow, then it is better to pay 5 thousand rubles in addition and buy LG 49SK8000, having received a brighter screen, louder and better sound, support for DVB-S / T2, Common Interface and retaining chips like voice control, Smart TV with its own operating system. The TV is in the middle between the options I proposed, but my advice is to save up a little money and take equipment above average, than to get just an ordinary TV.
