You need to know how to use the photoepier correctly before purchasing. With proper operation, an effective result can be achieved. As in every process, success depends on proper preparation, strict adherence to instructions and frequency of epilation.
Preparation for photoepilation
Before photoepilation, it is imperative to prepare. Specific recommendations are contained in the instructions for each individual model (type) of the epilator. Therefore, before preparing for photoepilation, study the instructions well.
However, in general, the following conditions are required for application and effect.
- No other type of hair removal is recommended four weeks before the first session. By this we mean all types, except shaving with a razor: waxing, using a depilator, sugaring, and the like.
- For two weeks before this moment, you should not sunbathe, go to self-tanning procedures (in a solarium). That is, you cannot expose your skin to intense solar, ultraviolet radiation.

- We turn on the epilator and get to work. Press it firmly against the skin. The contact must be sufficient, otherwise the device may not work. - It is recommended to apply a weaker mode first, and after application it is already possible to determine whether it is worth strengthening, or whether it is sufficient for your skin. You should especially consider the mode when using the epilator on sensitive areas of the body.Some models have a special indicator that is able to automatically determine the required mode upon contact with the skin. This is, of course, very convenient.
- Epilate the desired area thoroughly. If the area is small, press the epilator against your skin and press the button. After triggering the device, release the button.

For all beginners in this business, the question remains how often you can use the photoepilator.
Be sure to consider the recommended interval to achieve the desired effect. That is, if during the first 12 weeks it is recommended to use it for procedures with a specific interval, then stick to it. After all, photoepilation consists in the destruction of the hair follicle itself, and therefore a delay in its further growth. It takes a long time to achieve this.
At first, the result is invisible, except for a slightly slower hair growth. Follow the procedure to get the desired effect.
Another point is that you should not use the epilator too much. That is, if it is necessary once a week, then twice in seven days it will be too much, and can lead to dryness and burns of the skin. Skin care after photoepilation
After each procedure, you should carefully monitor the skin. Immediately after the procedure, you usually need to apply a special cream with a soothing effect. In any case, there may be some individual characteristics that make it somewhat deviate from the established norms. But, given that the procedure is long, about 10 sessions are needed to completely remove hair, it is better to comply with all conditions. Otherwise, an illiterate epilation will not give an effect, and a long time of your efforts will be useless.
