What not to do
The permissible temperature for the operation of thermal heating in most devices usually does not exceed -5 C. Including the thermal module for heating the air at lower temperatures, you risk getting a faulty device as a result of icing of the street block. The exception to this rule are inverter air conditioners, if they have a specialized winter set for cold air, the threshold of the permissible temperature for which can reach -15 C. So, if the outside temperature is acceptable for your air conditioner, you can go directly to the setting itself.
Setting the split system for warm air
Take the remote from your air conditioner and turn it on. This is usually done with the On / Off key. Then activate the heat mode with the “heat” button. However, not all remotes have a button with just such an inscription. There can be any other button, for example "mode", which switches the air conditioner between its modes. On such keys, they usually draw a designation of a change in weather with the help of, say, the sun and a snowflake. If it is not possible to switch the air conditioner to this mode, then most likely it does not support this function.

Troubleshooting
If, after turning on the air conditioner for heat, half an hour has passed, but the room has not become warmer and warm air does not come from the split system, then, perhaps, your device does not support this mode. Or, this indicates that it is not working properly. Perhaps you have configured something wrong on the remote. Try to repeat the above sequence of actions, carefully listening to the system (usually, if a signal reaches it, it emits characteristic sounds). Check if you managed to switch it to warm air.
As a last resort, try changing the batteries on the remote - this also helps in rare cases. If all else fails, then you need to contact a master who will eliminate the malfunction that has arisen - a lack of freon, etc.
