It has good functionality and cleans various types of surfaces - hard and fabric, but does not pass on carpets with a small pile. One of the thinnest vacuum cleaners among the competition. This review discusses the characteristics, strengths and weaknesses of the FC8792 SmartPro Easy robot vacuum cleaner.

Appearance
The case of the model can be safely called ultra-thin. While the thickness of the case on average reaches up to 30,000 rubles for competitors, Philips managed to achieve an indicator of 6. This allows the robot to pass even under the lowest furniture. The body itself is made of glossy plastic and is available in two colors - blue and black.
The shape of the case is also different from the others - it is square with rounded corners. This shape was chosen to enhance functionality when cleaning in corners and under walls. On the upper part there is a control system consisting of one button that starts the work. In general, looking at the robot gives the impression of a stylish and modern device.
On the lower part there is a hole for suction of trash, fasteners for side brushes, side wheels with a rubber coating and shock absorbers, a front wheel that can rotate around its own axis. On the side faces there are infrared sensors for orientation in space; the model does not have a video module for this purpose. There is also a soft bumper in the front and a hole for blowing out air in the back. There is no central turbo brush. The function of sweeping the litter and directing it to the place of suction is performed by two brushes located on the sides.
Functional
The model cleans up in two stages: the side brushes sweep and lift the litter from the coating, the hole tightens it. The outlet filter retains all the collected waste in its depths. The FC8794 modification is supplemented with a microfiber cloth included in the kit, it is attached to a special pallet, moistened and complements the model with a polisher function. The FC8792 does not have such a function, but in all other respects the models are completely similar.
The work is carried out in four modes:
- Zigzag movement.
- Spiral stroke.
- Chaotic movement.
- Up over the walls.
Equipped with Smart Detection 2, it adapts the vacuum cleaner to the current conditions.Consists of 23 sensors and an accelerometer that analyze the surrounding space and select the optimal operating mode that takes a minimum period of time.
The cleaning area that the robot can go through at one time is on average 50 m2. You can program work for the day ahead. At the end of the cycle, the device will automatically return to charge. To start the robot, a button on the body is used; for more complex programs, a remote control is needed. Connection to a smartphone is not provided.
Advantages and disadvantages
This model can be called ordinary. In its price category it differs only in the thickness of the case, in other functions and configuration it loses to many competitors. In general, the following advantages stand out:

- Simple to operate and maintain. The absence of a turbo brush frees you from the need to constantly clean the module from debris wound on it.

Minuses:
- Not a well thought-out timer setting system. It is activated by pressing a button on the remote control and starts exactly 24 hours later. At the same time, there is no indication on the control panel or the robot itself regarding the time remaining before the start.
- There are no movement limiters included.
- Does not cope with cleaning carpets with large and medium pile - the lack of a turbo brush affects.
