Design
The developers paid great attention to design and consider the appearance to be one of the main advantages of the robot. From the point of view of aesthetics, the parameters of the robot are ideal - a white body in the form of a circle slightly flattened from the sides, on its surface there is a special protective film. On the front there is a display for controlling the vacuum cleaner and informing about its current status.
On the side there is a spring-loaded bumper for mechanical protection, in its lower part there are sensors for detecting obstacles, height differences, on its upper part there is a rubber strip to ensure a gentle collision with interior items.
On the bottom there are two side brushes, a battery cover, drive wheels and a swivel wheel for maneuvering. There is no main brush, debris gets inside the vacuum cleaner due to side brushes and suction power. A napkin is attached to the bottom for wet cleaning the floor. The garbage container can be removed from the top by pressing the compartment cover on the front panel.
When looking at the sides of the vacuum cleaner, you can see the direct charging connector on one side and the power button on the other. On the mechanical bumper there is a window with tinted glass, behind it is an IR sensor. And on the back there is an outlet with a grill, an IR receiver window.
On closer inspection of the bottom, we see IR sensors scattered throughout the body, they determine the height differences. Here, side brushes with long bristles that come out of short elastic wires are attached to the drive axis without screws. The charging base station has a fairly bright indicator that can be inconvenient to use. The base is wide and stands firmly on the surface when the robot is installed.
Functional
The battery of the device is nickel-metal hydride - not the best choice, it is very capricious to use, takes a long time to charge and does not tolerate a full discharge, this reduces their capacity. You can control the robot using buttons on the body or from the remote control; not all the necessary controls are located on the body. There are several modes of operation:
- Auto - work until the battery is completely discharged, then he himself returns to the base to replenish the charge. The movement in this mode is determined by the electronics of the vacuum cleaner on its own, to correct the movement it is necessary to switch to manual mode.
- Manual mode - turns on only after automatic. In this mode, you can control the robot using the buttons on the panel or from the remote control.
- Local - cleaning a specific area in the room that requires thorough cleaning. To start working in this mode, the vacuum cleaner is installed at the desired point independently.
There are several additional convenient modes, among them programming scheduled cleaning, cleaning along walls and in corners. By the way, the low profile allows you to clean under almost any furniture. There is also a polisher mode, to start it, a pallet with a reservoir is attached to the bottom, it is included in the delivery set. On the top of the sump there is a water filling hole and a plug on it. On the bottom of the pallet, there are holes with porous valves that allow small doses of water to pass to the napkin located under them. Thus, wet cleaning is carried out in a semi-automatic mode, you do not need to remove the napkin and wet it, the user only needs to regularly add water.
The noise level declared in the characteristics is tolerable and quite comfortable for a vacuum cleaner, but the suction power is below average: 25 W allows you to collect fine debris, dust and sand, and will not pick up heavier and larger debris. Taking into account the lack of a turbo brush, this affects the cleaning efficiency. To increase the suction power, you can remove the internal filter from the container, since its function is not so important, all the dirt is collected by the mesh filter at the air outlet to the engine.
There is a UV lamp at the bottom to disinfect the surface, but it does not work as efficiently as required. To destroy all pathogenic bacteria, ultraviolet light must act for a long time on each surface area, which in this case is not implemented. The robot notifies the user about its actions and current state in Russian.
