The new V50 Pro robot vacuum cleaner from the Chinese company ILIFE appeared on the market in the spring of 2019 and in a short period of time managed to take its rightful place among other models. Designed for dry cleaning of hard floor coverings, including parquet, tiles, linoleum, laminate, wooden floor. The model has several operating modes, an excellent filtration system, a large capacity battery, and a remote control. I will tell you in detail about the features and characteristics of this gadget in my review.
Appearance
Outwardly, the device does not stand out in any way from similar models. The robot vacuum cleaner is round in shape, the top is made of pink plastic and the sides are painted white. In terms of size, it is within the normal range: diameter - 348 mm, height - 92 mm with a weight of 2.7 kg. On top of the case there is one mechanical power button and a cover for the dust collector compartment. On the sides of the iLife V50 Pro there is a protective bumper, a socket for connecting a power adapter, ventilation holes. Four pairs of sensors are installed to prevent collisions with surrounding objects. At the bottom are the drive wheels, a steering roller in the front, two side brushes, a central suction port, and a battery compartment. There are four pairs of sensors below that are responsible for falls from a height.
Functionality
The functionality of this vacuum cleaner is quite diverse. It provides 5 operating modes:
- auto;
- zigzag (snake);
- point;
- around the perimeter;
- manual.
A brushless motor is installed which runs very quietly. The noise level is 52 dB, the suction power is up to 500 Pa in automatic mode and up to 1000 Pa in maximum mode. There is a very convenient function for setting up a schedule for automatic launch of the robot for a week in advance. In this mode, the cleaning time will be the same daily. Unfortunately, it is impossible to set different times depending on the day of the week. The transparent waste bin has a volume of 300 ml.
The model has 2 filters: the first is for filtering the largest particles of debris, wool, hair, the second is a HEPA filter for keeping the smallest dust from the air. One of the "chips" of this model, as stated by the manufacturers, will be gyroscopic navigation, but in fact it proved to be an unreliable system. At the first touch on the furniture, the robot vacuum cleaner starts to clean up chaotically and does not return to the specified route. I would like to note the battery charge volume - 2600 Ma * h, which is a good indicator for budget equipment. Its vacuum cleaner is enough for 120 minutes of work without interruption, a full charge of the battery will take 300 minutes. The device can remove a large area - 140 m2, able to overcome obstacles with a height of 13 mm. Has fall protection and collision protection.

The robot is packed very carefully and well - in 2 boxes. The first is a protective one made of cardboard, and the second is branded white, on which the image of the vacuum cleaner itself flaunts, its characteristics and functions are given. Inside the box:

I will say from my experience: this is a fairly good factory kit, which is not provided for many other similar models from other manufacturers.

- Lack of wet cleaning function.
- Poorly distinguishes dark-colored furniture, constantly collides with it.
Verdict
The Chinese company has got a very interesting and functional model, which corresponds to its price - 11 thousand rubles. The vacuum cleaner is able to clean an area of up to 140 m2, works without recharging for 120 minutes - these are very good indicators for budget equipment. A very important function is the ability to schedule cleaning for the whole week, it is very convenient and practical. The only drawback in this system, I would call the lack of time change for a certain day. I was disappointed by the disgusting work of the gyroscopic navigation option, which, apparently, was just a PR move of the company. It remained unclear why the vacuum cleaner very poorly recognizes black and dark objects in the room: it constantly beats against them. But still, for myself, I found more pluses than minuses in this.
