Xiaomi Roborock S6 / T6 is the third generation robot vacuum cleaner, a novelty of 2019 from Xiaomi, an improved version of its predecessor Roborock S50. The model has undergone positive changes and is endowed with many possibilities. In the review, I will take a closer look at all the functionality, advantages and disadvantages, analyze customer reviews and opinions and make my own opinion, which you can see at the end of the review.

Xiaomi Roborock S6 / T6 comes in 2 versions: S6 for the European market, T6 for the Chinese market. The model is in a white-gray box with a nice design. On the front side of the package there is information about the model, its functions are indicated. All parts are neatly folded to reduce the risk of damage in transit. Appearance
Xiaomi Roborock S6 / T6 is made in a minimalistic style. The colors are black, white and gray. Traditional round shape made of high quality plastic. Unlike the previous model, the Roborock S55 has a matte body, which solves the issue of fingerprints on the robot.
At the top, in one row, there are control buttons with an updated design. The device is equipped with a special button with which height restrictions are determined. Laser mount.
Inside the robot there is a container for collecting garbage with a volume of 500 ml. On the back of the container there is a HEPA filter, which does not allow dust, dirt to come out and get into the engine. Wi-Fi sensor. A nozzle for cleaning a vacuum cleaner, and on the back side - blades for removing wool, dirt, hair from the brushes.
On the side, on one side, there is an obstacle sensor, and on the other, a bumper that softens the impacts in a collision.

Functionality

Thanks to the application, you can divide cleaning into zones, restrict movement, and choose a place for local cleaning. Remembers up to 3 cleaning plans. The Rock Navigition scheduling algorithm cuts cleaning time by up to 20%, i.e. 17 minutes instead of 21.
Equipped with three processors, 14 sensors are integrated. Previously, in similar models the maximum number was 13. Allwinner Technology processor with R16 series chip, Texas Instruments processor and MCU microprocessor STMicroelectronics.
One of the main changes is the transition from the usual microfiber to disposable wipes for wet cleaning.
An updated version of the LDS laser sensor has become more accurate, it became possible to scan the area, and then plan a route.

The changes cannot be called cardinal or revolutionary, but the manufacturer has improved the main technical parameters: Map Management 3.0 navigation, operating speed, microfiber replacement, control from the Mi Home application and a volume reduction of up to 40 dB. The power remains the same. According to reviews, 95% of buyers recommend the device. I think the Xiaomi Roborock S6 / T6 is a good value for money. The main positive arguments were high-quality, fast cleaning, power, maneuverability, ease of operation, noise level.
