The Clever Panda i5 hybrid robot vacuum cleaner (Pet Series) was created in 2017. This robot vacuum cleaner was the first to be equipped with its own video camera and Wi-Fi. Appearance
The vacuum cleaner has the usual round shape of a very compact size, with a diameter of only 25 cm. Its height is quite small - 6 cm. This allows the device to be driven under low furniture and into narrow spaces. The device weighs 2.3 kg.
The robot body is made of high quality plastic. On sale are models in red and gold colors. On the top panel there is a rectangular display (where the current cleaning and notification mode is indicated) and a Wi-Fi enable button. The rest of the space is occupied by the lid of the dust container.
Air vents, ultrasonic sensors, night vision and illumination devices, and a camera lens are provided on the side. On the bottom are located:

- automatic: cleaning goes along the path chosen by him;
- spot: applies to the dirtiest areas;
- dust removal along walls and around furniture;
- switching on at a preselected time.
For wet wiping of the surface from the bottom of the vacuum cleaner, a special container with water is connected, which is automatically dispensed onto the napkin. The unit provides control over excessive moisture, i.e. excess water is automatically removed.
The device can be controlled via a mobile application, thanks to Wi-Fi. A highly intelligent navigation system helps the robot to flawlessly perform its main function, orienting itself well in space. Sensors and indicators clearly identify obstacles and enable the device to select the appropriate mode for cleaning the selected area. At the end of the program, the device automatically goes to the charger.
The HD camera, in addition to being involved in mapping the room and the route of the vacuum cleaner, is still capable of performing completely new functions:
- a kind of security, thanks to night vision;
- is able to take photos and make video calls;
- send a photo to a mobile phone while monitoring the room in real time;
- storage of information on a Flash-card (up to 32 GB);
- the video camera functions not only in active mode, but also during charging;
