The Panda X5S Pro Series robot vacuum cleaner entered the sales market in 2017. A vacuum cleaner with an original design, modern technical characteristics and good functionality, which allows high-quality dry cleaning of all types of floor coverings, as well as wet wiping of the floor. In the review, we will consider its features and capabilities.
Appearance
The vacuum cleaner has a familiar round shape with a diameter of 32 cm and a height of 8.8 cm. It weighs 3 kg. The body is made of plastic, and the upper part is made of durable glass. It contains touch control buttons and an LED-screen that displays the state of the device at the current moment and shows the time.
The side surface is equipped with a bumper, to soften which a rubber device is installed. Various sensors are also built here. They pick up the commands of the remote control, find the charging base, determine the presence of obstacles in the direction of travel and the distance to them. The on / off button and the external power adapter are also on the side. On the bottom of the device are located:
- 2 side wheels;
- one small one in front for making turns;
- 2 side brushes;
- suction port, where, if necessary, a double turbo brush is connected;
- battery compartment with cover.

Functionality
The Panda X5S Pro Series vacuum cleaner draws in dust through a special hole on the bottom, where it directs debris with side brushes. If necessary, put a PowerBrush turbo brush in a double version (fleecy and rubber). It promotes better cleaning on carpets. Garbage is sent to a dust collector equipped with two filters so that the blown air can enter the room without dust. It works in the following modes:
- Auto. Switched on with the Auto Cleaning button. The device initially moves in a snake, but in the course of work, taking into account the peculiarities of the room to be cleaned, it can change its trajectory.
- Local. It is carried out in a separate, highly polluted area. To do this, the device is brought to the selected place and started with the Spot Cleaning key on the case.
- Cleaning around the perimeter. Place the unit against a wall and press the Edge Cleaning button.
- Delayed start. Provides for the establishment of not only the start time of cleaning, but also the choice of the day of the week. In this case, the robot automatically turns on at a given moment and executes the program.
- Full Go. It is activated remotely when the device is working or charging. In this case, after receiving a charge, it will automatically turn on and start cleaning.
For wet wiping, the dust collector is replaced with a water tank. The liquid from it automatically flows to the napkin attached to the bottom, constantly wetting it. The vacuum cleaner is controlled by the remote control and from a phone or tablet, thanks to the Tuya mobile application (for Panda).
Inertial navigation is driven by a gyroscope, resulting in a carefully calibrated travel path for maximum harvesting efficiency. There is a sound alert.
