Do-it-yourself installation of the oven begins with the fact that the place where the oven will be located is freed and leveled.

It should also be noted that between oven and just anyone hob and the wall must have an air gap. It is no secret that in contact with high temperatures, the close location of the wall and furniture will not have any beneficial effect on your interior. On average, the thickness of the gap should be: from the back wall - 4 cm, from neighboring cabinets - 0.5 cm, from the floor - 8-9 cm.

As you know, the oven can run on both gas and electricity. In the first case, it is necessary to provide a gas supply system and not violate its integrity. It is recommended to locate the gas cabinet at a distance of 1.2 meters from the direct gas source.

The second option is an electric cabinet. In terms of self-installation, it is simpler, since the electric oven is easier to connect to the mains. How do I connect the oven to electricity? The outlet where the wires are connected is best located at a distance of at least 10 cm from the floor. The outlet must withstand a current of at least 40 amperes.

Connect the oven with your own hands to the gas main using a flexible hose. A thorough sealing of the joints of the special tap and the outlet fitting is observed. It should be noted that such work is recommended to be performed by employees of the gas service. Moreover, without their personal intervention, it is not allowed to connect the oven to the gas main.

  • Install and secure the equipment. The connecting part of the pipeline is screwed into the gas supply line until it stops. This is done using a special gas wrench for working with pipes.
  • The expanding end of the pipe is twisted to the installed pipeline. The other end is connected to the outlet valve located in the wall.
  • Using a wrench, each end of the pipe is twisted and tightened.

  1. The electrical current in the wiring is completely cut off.
  2. If the wires for connection to the network are not available, then it is purchased additionally. During the do-it-yourself installation process, it is attached to the corresponding terminals.
  3. A 3-core copper wire is laid from the switchboard to the outlet where the cabinet will be connected. If the cabinets consume power in runs from 3 to 3.75 kV, then the required current strength in the mains fluctuates in values ​​from 16 A
  4. Consider the switch box. Wire routing must be provided. It may turn out to be both the VVG-3 * 2.5 wire and the VVG-3 * 4.0 wire.

How to check the oven operation correctly?

  • Switch on the cabinet, having previously read the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
  • Check if the indicator lights are working.
  • All heating elements should be heated evenly. Your task is to track this process.
  • The heating mode is set at maximum power.
  • Preheat the oven to a temperature of +150 to +250 ° C. Leave the windows open or turn on the hood. This will completely eliminate the smell of factory grease and burning.
